2021 Patina Rosé Barrel Fermented

Product Description

This rosé displays aromas of peach, nectarine, pineapple, strawberries and cream.  The palate is medium weight, with a little touch of velvety mouth feel. It is smooth and fruity from front to mid palate culminating in a long refreshing finish.

Winemaking: As the grapes were all Bordeaux varieties, I decided to experiment with barrel fermenting this Rosé.  There was minimal skin contact as juice was drained from the must right after crushing.  After clarifying, the ferment was started in vat and then transferred to two- and three-year-old French oak barrels mid ferment. After two months it was transferred to tank for clarification and bottling. 13.2% ALC/VOL
