Over the past few months, the transition of the business has continued. As with any change, there were a few logistical teething issues around order fulfilment, but we’re pleased to report that these have now been resolved.
It’s been a challenging season for Orange growers so far, with early frosts, some hail, and most recently an extreme heat event. On the positive side, early to mid-season rainfall delivered excellent soil moisture, which has helped keep the vines in good condition (see our view from the tractor below). The Patina Chardonnay vines in particular have held up very well, and we’re looking ahead to a promising crop in mid-March.
Cellar Door update 🍷
We’re delighted to share that we will be re-opening the Patina Cellar Door. The new location will be at 432 Cargo Road, Nashdale. We’re currently working through the plans, including a fresh fit-out and an inviting outdoor area, with the aim of opening in Spring 2026.
We’ll be sharing progress images along the way on our Instagram page, and in the meantime, Patina wines remain available for tasting at Ferment Wine Bar in Orange.
