95 Points “Translucent tawny-red colour in the glass. A heady mix of hazelnuts, spirit, wild honey and butterscotch. Bustling with richness and energy – it’s viscous and sweet with a faint and rare complexity. Sensational.”
2018 Patina ‘Jezza’
93 Points. “Deep ruby core with a brick red tint into the rim. Blackcurrant, dried leather and cigar box aromas. Big and powerful black fruits fill the core and are well wrapped in fine gravelly tannins. As it runs along, savoury developing characters build leather and cedar notes with hints of game meats. Great length and detail at the finish. A big wine that is coming into its zone with several years of bottle age under its belt.”
