Update on Patina / Retirement

At this point I would normally write something informative about wine in the “Long Dry Finish” but I think I should keep you abreast of the developments at Patina instead as there are big changes afoot.

I anticipate there is enough wine in the Cellar to stave off thirst for three to four more Wine Club send outs.  And if there is still some wine left after this, I will offer it first to Wine Club Members at significantly discounted prices.

The next step in winding up the Winery will be an equipment Clearing Sale as I have collected a fair bit of stuff over twenty-five years of making wine, growing grapes, building a house and planning some dreams that aren’t coming to fruition.

I have attended many clearing sales in my life… they are fun, and I only buy bargains or things that I really need (although Angela may disagree with this – strongly). Now it’s my turn to give away some bargains.

It’s shapping up for the end of January and I might have something of interest to you in the auction so I’ll send out an update email when the date is settled… who knows, there might be something here you really need. 😉
