Patina ‘Tribute’ Pinot Noir
$45.00
Expect something different. This Pinot is more savoury than sour cherry. The palate is very varietal mixed with good development from the Ibis portion spending considerable time in aged French Oak.
Winemaker’s notes:
One of a kind. Phil Stevenson planted the Ibis vineyard in 1988 making him one of the pioneers of Orange wine. He retired a few years ago and allowed me to select a few barrels from his 02, 03 and 04 vintages. They had some great characters but need a little freshening up so I re-fermented them with some of my 2013 Pinot Noir grapes to make a wine that is both old and new. 13.3% Alc.
