Welcome to the 2014 Winter Club Dozen. I’m having fun with this dozen as I decided to dust off a few museum pieces and reward Club members with a vertical taste of my Cabernet Sauvignon.
There are six vintages included in this Special Club Release. The first Cabernet harvested at Patina was 2002 so all except the 2001 are from Patina’s vineyard. This is a great chance to see how the vineyard, the wine and the Winemaker have evolved over time.
The 2014 whites included in this Club dozen have had some extended skin contact resulting in great mouth feel and flavour intensity. I think these two wines are delicious so I’m letting Club Members be the first to taste them.
